FORBIDDEN LOVE Blog Tour Winding Down

The Forbidden Love Blog Tour winds into its final week. Whew! It's been quite a ride. It's one I wouldn't trade for a million FTL flights to other worlds!

The very last day of this wonderfully hectic month of May I'll be blogging with my friend and author of many books,  Helen Hardt, who is well know for her blog,  Helen's Heroes. It features the best hunks around! Today she will profile my hero, T'kon from Forbidden Love. 

Then to kick off the month of June, On the 1st, I'll be visiting fabulous author, Amber Skyze and answering those awesome and interesting questions she poses. You may not want to miss this!

When Thursday June 3 rolls around, Lisa Leibow, who hosts Fodder for Fiction has asked me a to reveal some very personal stuff about my writing inspiration. Here's where I reveal how and why I created hero, T'Kon. Another not to be missed day!

On Friday, June 4, it truly gives me a great deal of pleasure to end this part of my Blog Tour with my good friend and fellow author, Shelley Munro. She has so many books out now that I've lost count! Stop by for an inside view on how I created the worlds for Forbidden Love, and other aspects of world-building as well.

Blog Tour...

I visited my friend and fellow romance author
Linda Banche On Sunday where I talked  a little about SFR or Science Fiction Romance. SFR actually appeared way back in the 1930's. I look at how it is coined in today's market. So stop on by!

Romancing the Blog, "It's Cheeky Lizard Sunday." She is the lady who coined T'Kon, my hero in Forbidden Love as that Cheeky Lizard. Some very interesting things are going on over there. She has a unique Lizard Sundae recipe and a great lizard photo. There is even a Reptilian male and a human female from a very old photo! (I've got to have that photo!) Okay, for sure T'Kon is nothing like those old perceptions, but it's all in good fun. So come on over and join in the merriment!

Then moving on into Monday, I'm visiting the blog of my buddy, Cari Quinn who pens fantastic erotic romance for The Wild Rose Press. She asks me some probing questions about science fiction romance and basically how one can generate interest in the SFR genre. Tough questions. My answers may surprise you. I'm blogging about FORBIDDEN LOVE again today, May 21 with Christina Phillps. She and I met just before she signed her first contract for her erotic paranormal, Foretaste of Forever with TWRP. She wrote one more book for them called Touch of the Demon. Soon after that Christina signed with an agent who promptly acquired  a two book deal with Berkeley Heat. Her new book, a hot historical releases in September 2010. Though we didn't plan it,  the title of her first Berkeley Heat book is FORBIDDEN! An interesting coincidence, I say.

Release day for FORBIDDEN LOVE is today!!

A surprise for me too! I got the news early this morning. FORBIDDEN LOVE released a week early-- today, May 13 at Red Rose Publishing! Wow! I am so excited! Unexpected news, but still I'm exicted. I've waited for this and now it is here! For those who expected (like me) the release for next week on the 20th, well I am out there now!

For this very special and unexpected release day I am sharing a new Forbidden Love blub and excerpt right here:

Forbidden Love Blurb:

T’Kon and Maya are galaxies apart, so different yet so much alike…

Exploring the galaxies at faster than light speed (FTL) is routine for the inhabitants of Asconage. T’Kon’s cool-blood culture exists on a planet in the scorch of binary suns. Yet there are governing archaic rules to prohibit interspecies mating with those from different worlds and evolutionary paths.

When T’Kon crashes his spacecraft on Terrain, a seasonal planet barely on the cusp of space travel, he cannot resist Maya, the warm-blooded audacious female who gives him aid. Their desire for each other entices T’Kon to abandon his species moral code.

There is little time to linger inside this illicit passion. The warring factions of her world are closing in. A quick fix of his spacecraft and a fast exit is his best choice. But can T’Kon leave Maya behind and forsake their emerging Forbidden Love?

Forbidden Love Excerpt:

“So how did you learn to speak our language?” Maya asked, “Not your native tongue I’ll bet.”

The mating urge rose in T’Kon anew at the sound of her melodic voice. He scrutinized her through squinted eyes. A crinkle stretched across her nose where a line of minuscule brown dots scattered onto each cheek. He had an impulse to stroke the dots, see if he could rub them off. No, he should not touch her again.

“While studying your planet, I picked up words and phrases.” He said finally.

She leaned across the counter and captured his eyes with hers. “Why are you studying us?”

He did not answer her question. He had told her too much already. The less she knew about him the better. “Take me to my spacecraft.”

She stared at him.

He hissed out more air and then shook his head. “I had not planned contact.”

She scooted around and came to stand close to him. He could tell she wanted to touch him but did not. “Maybe you didn’t plan it but here you are. So why not take advantage of the situation...” her words trailed off and this time she did touch him. She slid her hand over his chest and onto his face.

He caught her fingers in a rough hold. The act caused his talons to unsheathe. “No, I cannot. I will not.” He dropped her hand. A sudden realization—glancing down at his body, he stood naked before her his mating organ erect. “What have you done with my bodily covering?”

“I cut it off,” she answered. “I had to do it so I could examine you to see if you were hurt. Your space suit encased you so tightly, I had no choice."

He hissed close to her ear. "You tore away my covering, now I shall rid you of yours." In a display that surprised even him, T’Kon slid a claw around her back hooking her clothing with a talon. In a swift motion, he slashed it from her. The garments landed on the floor in tattered pieces.

Maya’s heart beat against his chest matching his own accelerated pulse. The heat of her nakedness roused him even more…

He began his exploration anew.

“You want me to touch you here?” He licked across her lips, over her face and then down neck, hovering just above the swell of her breasts.

“Oh yes,” Maya panted on a sigh...

There you have it...

As a romance author, I lean toward the adventuresome in my writing. I love science fiction and all the enticing quantum theories surrounding it. Where characters rush through outer space at (FTL) Faster than Light speed, or teleport into another time, and even slipstream into an alternate reality. I like creating sizzling love scenes too with sexy heroes, and captivating heroines. It just seemed natural to combine all these elements together in my stories and write (SFR) Science Fiction Romance.

I hope you enjoy reading Forbidden Love as much as I enjoyed wrting it!

I woke up to a beautiful but chilly Sunday. As I watched the sun leave patches of light across my bed, I planned what I was going to do, and I realized two things,
