Please join me in welcoming my special guest Science Fiction Romance author, Laurann Dohner, This is the release date for her latest book Kissing Steel, second in the Cyborg Seduction series from Ellora’s Cave. Laurann, I’m glad you could join me on this, your special day!

Are you wondering who Laurann Dohner is? You’ve probably never heard of me so let me share a little about myself.

I’m an author who just got published in September for the first time. I wrote at home for fun for nearly twenty years while living with the man who holds my heart and raising our four children while I dreamed of one day getting my books out there but life always had a way of making it just a daydream.

Last year my youngest child started school so I saw FREE TIME in my future, giving me a chance to finally take a shot at doing what I wanted to do most – writing as a career. I got some rejections. OUCH, those hurt. I decided to write something new, fresh, and something I hadn’t done before. I wrote my first Sci-fi erotic romance and thought while I was totally going for it… I’d submit to my dream publisher. Ellora’s Cave offered me a contract for Ral’s Woman, the first book in a series called Zorn Warriors! I was ecstatic and I shed a few tears of happiness. I STILL pinch myself often or Mr. Laurann does it for me… to make sure it’s a reality (I think his reasons are different though…). LOL.

I currently have two series that I am lucky enough to write. Zorn Warriors are hot, hunky aliens from the planet Zorn who have discovered human women can keep up with their active sex drives. Ral’s Woman and Kidnapping Casey are available now. Zorn Warriors are tough, aggressive, dominating males but they are fiercely loyal and very possessive. It’s a science fiction erotica romance series so if you see a streak in the night sky…

I was clicking around on a fantasy art website and this large warrior that someone drew caught my eye. He was gorgeous and inspired my imagination. That’s how my second series, Cyborg Seduction, sparked to life. I suddenly had a story about Flint, a cyborg, who sees a human woman. She draws him like a warm flame in his cold existence. The Cyborg Seduction Series is set in the future. I made a trailer for the series if you’d like to take a peek here: Cyborg Seduction.

There are currently three titles for the series. Burning Up Flint released at Ellora's Cave on March 5th. The next two upcoming titles are Kissing Steel which releases today, April 16th! And Melting Iron is still TBA. I just feel so blessed to be writing and I’ve got to meet (via internet) a lot of terrific people! I appreciate you taking the time to get to know a little about me. She lived it every day of her life and had for years, trapped in her travesty of a marriage. She saw a kindred soul in those seconds. If she had to go to bed with a man, he was her first choice as her gaze swept over him again, feeling attraction in ways she hadn’t experienced in years. The thought of having sex with the handsome cyborg made her feel warm and almost eager to explore the reality of how it would feel to be touched by him. She made a sudden decision. She stared at the big cyborg when he turned his head, maybe sensing her desperate focus on him. She barely hesitated.

“Give me to him.”
